David Freid

David Freid produced the short film “The Windfisherman” which will be the first film shown at Maui Film Festival 2009 in Wailea. He is a graduate of USC Film School and American Film Institute where he also produced “Cat Dragged in” which has cameos of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, and the dark, period piece “Penny Dreadful”. He also majored in writing and has a number of interesting screenplays waiting to find a venue — and is the son of the host of “Life on Maui”!
